Milwaukee Chapter Scholarship Fund

We are pleased to announce our 2-year scholarship recipient for the 2009-2010 school year from the Dorothy Phillippi Scholarship Fund.

The winner of our scholarship is Karla Russow.  Karla is attending Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, and plans to graduate in May of 2010.  After spending 15 years establishing a home and family, Karla is in the process of obtaining an associate degree in accounting and a micro-computer certificate.  She also hopes to continue her education and get a bachelors degree in accounting.  Karla has maintained a high grade point average, and her list of extracurricular activities and honors is impressive.  We are very proud to be able to help women such as Karla achieve their goals.

Congratulations to Karla!  We had a number of very qualified candidates apply, and the selection process was difficult.

Thank you also to our members who work to raise money to fund the scholarships.  We appreciate the chance to provide scholarships due to the hard work of our members!
